Acquisition of leading provider of pumps, heat exchangers, gas compressors and first class service and repairs furthers OTC’s expansion into the New England Area.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — December 17, 2021 — Ohio Transmission Corporation (OTC), an industrial equipment service provider and distributor headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, today announced the acquisition of Diversified Pump, a leading provider of pumps, heat exchangers, gas compressors and first class service and repair to industrial customers throughout the New England Area. TP Pump will operate under OTC’s Pump Motor Technologies Segment.

Headquartered in Brentwood, NH, Diversified Pump has ten employees that provide sales and service for all types of pumps, compressors, vacuum pumps, mechanical seals and unlimited systems capabilities in the six-state New England region.

With this acquisition, Ohio Transmission Corporation now has over 60 locations throughout the United States, along with nearly 40 service shops. The addition of Diversified Pump associates expands Ohio Transmission Corporation’s workforce to about 1600 employees.

Bill MacLeod and John Gezzer have owned Diversified Pump and Compressor for more than 15 years. Both worked for Diversified Pump under the previous ownership for 15 years prior to acquiring the business in 2004.
“We specialize in hard-to-handle applications such as corrosives, toxic and high temperature fluids as well as fluids containing high-solid loads,” said John, “but we can also handle more common applications as well.” Diversified also works with process gases, mechanical seals, vacuum pumps, metering pumps and heat exchangers.
“Since the beginning we have represented Durco Pumps,” explained Bill. Today, Diversified Pump continues to represent Flowserve when Durco was acquired that company. They also represent a wide line of premier process pumps, gas compressors and heat exchangers, such as Sundyne, Seepex, Milton Roy, Paul Mueller and others.
